Inside the Care Show London: A Sector United, Energised, and Future-Focused

ree

Last week’s Care Show London at ExCeL brought together some of the most passionate and forward-thinking people in the care sector. From lively panel discussions to honest chats over coffee, it was clear that—despite challenges—the drive to improve care and support the workforce is stronger than ever.

We were proud to be there, not just as attendees, but as active participants in the conversation about what care needs next.

A Community Brought Together

The atmosphere over the two days was full of energy. Care providers, tech innovators, regulators, and sector leaders all under one roof, sharing ideas and exploring new ways to make care delivery safer, more efficient, and more human. Whether you were attending a panel or stopping by a stand, the energy was collaborative, solutions-focused, and refreshingly open.

Key Topics That Stood Out

1. Sustainability in Practice

Sustainability wasn’t just a buzzword. Sessions like “Putting Policy into Practice” gave practical ideas on how care settings can balance eco-conscious decisions with day-to-day realities. It’s not just about the planet—it’s about lasting, future-proof care.

2. Digital and Cyber Readiness

Digital transformation is picking up speed across social care, but with it comes responsibility. Sessions led by experts from the Digital Care Hub and beyond reminded us that cyber resilience isn’t optional. From phishing awareness to safe data handling, the conversation around digital maturity is growing up.

3. Real People, Real Voices

Some of the most memorable moments came from hearing frontline stories. Whether it was the open and honest WAGS panel or the many informal conversations around the floor, people shared their wins, frustrations, and hopes for the future.

4. Compliance and Care Quality

With CQC’s evolving requirements, many conversations circled back to quality assurance—how to stay inspection-ready without drowning in paperwork. It’s a shared pain point, and solutions are starting to meet it head-on.

What We Took Away

As CareLearner, it was important for us to listen. We know that care providers need more than just e-learning—they need full-spectrum digital tools that support compliance, reduce admin strain, and make day-to-day operations smoother.

That’s why we’re not just about training. Our platform also supports:

  • Incident and audit tracking

  • Risk assessments and policy management

  • Tools to help maintain CQC compliance readiness

  • All while keeping things simple and accessible for busy teams.

Until the Next One…

We left London with a lot to reflect on—and a lot to build on. From the engaging talks to the great people we met (and yes, even the rogue tote bags approved by Reginald the cat), Care Show London reminded us why this sector matters so much.

Thanks to the organisers, speakers, and every person who stopped to chat. We’re already looking ahead to Care Show Birmingham in October.

See you there.
